Charmed

Por três encantadores anos, as Escolhidas — Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) e Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) — tiveram que usar seus poderes de bruxas e “O Livro das Sombras” para mantê-las vivas e salvar os inocentes, enquanto lutavam para derrotar o mal. Agora, na nova temporada, algo nunca imaginado irá acontecer. O poder das três será quebrado para sempre.

A partir daí, inicia-se um novo capítulo na saga de “Charmed”, com as irmãs sobreviventes tentando se manter vivas e mantendo-se unidas enquanto continuam lutando contra os demônios. As irmãs irão renovar sua fé numa inesperada revelação: talvez haja uma outra Halliwell que elas nem sequer imaginavam que existia — Paige (Rose McGowan), a irmã que poderá reunir novamente o poder das três e fazer com que elas recuperem todos os seus poderes de bruxa.

A grande polêmica no fim da última temporada foi a saída repentina de Doherty da série. Um dos motivos seriam as constantes brigas que ela e Milano travavam nos bastidores. “Eu acho que é difícil quando… você põe duas pessoas diferentes para trabalhar juntas”, diz Milano sobre o ocorrido. Já Combs sai em defesa da amiga. “Os produtores nem deram a chance da personagem dela, Prue, ter um final interessante. Agora, quero ver como eles irão explicar por que eu sobrevivi e ela não”.

O produtor executivo Brad Kern acredita que, apesar da mudança de última hora no elenco, os fãs de “Charmed” vão continuar enfeitiçados pela série. “O divertido será ver a nova irmã se adaptando a sua nova vida de bruxa”, ele diz. “Em um episódio, veremos as três encolherem e ficarem com 7 centímetros de altura”.

“Vamos dar para a audiência um período de luto. Piper não vai aceitar de imediato a nova irmã”, acrescenta Combs.
